Program Summary

The Skills to Success Mentoring Program was established with the mission of increasing skilled trade educational opportunities among the under-served populations of Los Angeles County. This task will be accomplished by conducting group mentoring sessions throughout the County, in partnership with other nonprofit organizations, that has an emphasis on workforce development. This program will focus on creating an avenue that leads to a career within the HVAC, and Building Maintenance Engineering trades. These particular jobs are important to all of us, because they play a major role in our growing green economy. Commercial buildings and homes consumes lots of energy which puts a strain on our electrical infrastructure. Well trained HVAC and Building Maintenance Engineers, will be at the forefront in the battle to combat this problem.
